This photo is like having a bit of the "Happiest Place on Earth" in your collection. When Tinker Bell is happy, EVERYBODY'S HAPPY. If Tinker Bell ain't happy, AIN'T NOBODY HAPPY. Well, I changed the saying just a little but it's still true. I love this image of Tink. The artist caught the excitement and the exuberance of the tiny pixie when she's all-a-flutter and is getting ready to zoom up over the tree tops. As a matter of fact, with her arms outstretched, she is inviting you to follow her.
Let me tell you, it is a happy happenstance to have this photo of her. It can pick you up when you are down. Really! Now, I am basically a very happy person. It is a gift that I do not take lightly. I'm one of those people who go through a tough patch of life and seldom realize that it was a struggle. It is only when I glance back that I realize my gift has seen me through.
Like Tinker Bell, I have a hard time looking to the past whether it is reminiscing about my victories and/or my defeats. This has been a gift, too. Think about it. Not looking back is one of the most interesting personality traits about Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, too (That's one of the reasons my memoirs, Tinker Bell Talks, is not at the printer yet).
Now, I'm positive, just like my tiny buddy, I drive some people to become a little shatter-pated with my (subconscious) thought pattern which is as follows: We came into this world with nothing and we will leave this world with nothing. So, what is the next adventure that waits for me just around the corner? I'm sure it will be a blessing!
Isn't that vintage Tinker Bell thinking? You know, when the great artist/animator Marc Davis, designer of Tinker Bell, told me decades later, "Margaret, you're STILL Tinker Bell," I rather think that my way of viewing life is what Marc saw when he cast me to perform the live-action work before the camera for Tinker Bell at Disney Studio.
When you look at this 8" x 10" glossy photo, you see a lot of me and my life's philosophy mirrored in this rendering. The preprinted message (in my handwriting) just adds to the intoxicating feeling of joy. A sincere wish from Tink and me reads, "Think Happy Thoughts 'n you can fly", then on the next line, "Tinker Bell." Now, being Tink's reference model and alter ego, I personally hand write my name below the message, "Margaret Kerry". This is my original autograph, not a copy.
The photo will come with a Certificate of Authenticity, also signed by me, guaranteeing for a lifetime the authenticity of the autograph, or a full refund would be made.
