Head for the Stars!

Here’s a puzzler for you.  If all those handsome people on TV spots, smiling after their problem has been solved in 15-to-30 seconds – if these people are really paid actors… then are they also bald faced liars when they look directly at us and announce that they have certain bodily pains, sleepless nights, rashes or serious diseases. etc … ???

   We are all taught to be grateful and I, for one, am so grateful for TV commercials.

   Well, when I do watch television, I do so look forward to see the happy, smiling and well dressed characters in the spots.

    These TV spots may start out with stating problems anywhere from, say, scummy bathroom walls and escalate to life threating health conditions.

    In less that a minute, the people in the ad are transformed from being downhearted to happily grinning enthusiasts because of the product they have ‘discovered’ … be it a rodent killer or a medication with a killer side effect.. their problem is solved!

   Makes the viewer feel good as we empathize.

Then — back to Ugly Betty, Desparate Housewives or Dr. Phil … or Heaven Help US!  THE NEWS…
